RELATIONSHIP COACHING
Relationship Coaching is a program specifically designed for those interested in achieving healthy, long-term relationships. It is a crash course in identifying your patterns in order to change the types of people you gravitate towards in your romantic life. You will learn where your relationship expectations come from and determine how they may be setting you up for continual disappointment. Relationship Coaching educates you on the language of love by defining intimacy, vulnerability and jealousy. You will learn how these areas have caused problems in your past relationships and what you need to know to make changes in your future relationships. Most importantly, Relationship Coaching will allow you to identify what you really want and need from a partnership. This course utilizes a workbook and homework is assigned at the end of most sessions. The only way to achieve the goal of a healthy relationship is by taking personal responsibility for your situation rather than complaining about it.

COUNSELING
There are many different models of counseling. However, I subscribe to the idea that much of our behavior, thoughts and attitudes are shaped by our childhood experiences. If childhood was not ideal, and it wasn’t for most of us, we may not have fully developed all of the necessary “life skills”. These underdeveloped “life skills” may lead to nonproductive behavior, which in turn causes emotional distress in some areas of our lives. Therefore, it is essential to get to the root cause of these underdeveloped “life skills” and begin making changes. Counseling is a process and usually takes some amount of time and commitment to be effective.

LIFE COACHING
The primary aim of coaching is to achieve specific goals in a variety of areas through participation in individualized coaching sessions. Coaching sessions offer several key benefits. First, they allow one-on-one interaction with the coach who is able to devote all of the time and attention necessary to achieve your specific goals. Second, this format provides you with your own personal trainer to help brainstorm and motivate you towards the results that you want. Third, coaching sessions teach hands-on solution development skills. This will enable you to make decisive choices and take appropriate steps in future situations. Coaching involves homework. We will identify specific actions to help propel you towards your goals. Coaching is for the person who is ready to take charge of their life, rather than letting life take charge of them.
